Unto Creation

To rest under goodness

Twould seem far from hither

Good fades into the night

Ever to be forgotten in time

Once upon a time

Everything was set into place

The beauty of creation

Twas a marvel to unravel

But we poisoned the well

Tainted existence for power

To where hardly humanity is left

Within the sands of time

Painful darkness is what we inherit

And goodness is all but a dream

Naught to be seen in light of this

Not a glimpse of anything clean

For naught is clean in darkness

Come hither unto the light

Not thither in darkness and decay

Not a far from whence we came

Come hither unto light in love

To love creation once more

And love the life we never deserved
