Light in the Darkness

Drifting through space and time
The end has cometh unto mine
Or shall be at the end of time
For naught is mine nor thine in the end
The steps unto thither have naught
Not in mine eyes or even a glimpse
It has faded into the depths of darkness
Tis a thought within that burns into the night
The darkness of my mind give thought
Many a trouble that brought forth despair
So many burdens in life unto death
A captivating thought not so, not for thee
Distracting our minds from the dark
And thusly the dark cometh unto being
To roam free within the light if ever there was
The thoughts of mine shall die as everything fades
No mind nor ear to hearken unto word such as this
And whatfore doth this come into being
If word have naught to lend unto mind
The misery burns deep in this world
And spreads unto all or any with goodness
I could not but pray that word shall find thee
Word of goodness and not poison unto thine
I made promise and shall keep it with me
For word and creation would bring unto thee
Goodness and light in the darkness
