Goodness in Darkness

Born in hell
The hell of this
The abysmal darkness
A world without righteousness
Head slipping and burning
Tis turning and spinning
Spiraling out of mind
Nothing is kind
Fake laughs and smiles
Hypocrisy without shame
A game to fight for your name
Tossed in the piles, running for miles
Dying little by little
Death in life, dead bread
Naught in head to bed
Rest in a nest of darkness
Zombies among us
Nothing inside survived
Walking corpses in life
Can't rewind to find
Finding hope or serenity
Searching for tranquility
Trying to survive the tide
In this damned world among the damned
It's all about fake personality
Not character, or good character
Not about morality or integrity
There be naught in this fake world
People preaching, so called teaching
But where's the healing, the need be calling
Calling righteousness down to judge the darkness
Where're the good people to build a steeple
Battle after battle to find a saddle
One after another to find something better
To have life in this abyss none would miss
Whatever happened to goodness in the darkness
